About Stephanie Ramirez, MA, CCC-SLP

I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin, obtaining degrees in both Communication Sciences & Disorders (CSD) and Psychology. I have always been interested in the way people and things work. The two fields blended beautifully to contribute to my lifelong passion for learning the hows and whys of the world around me.

After completion of my Master’s degree work in CSD with a specialization in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse populations, I pursued a career path as a pediatric bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist; English being my first and native proficiency language and Spanish being my later acquired Intermediate proficiency language.

I have lived in the Austin area since 2004 after moving here from San Antonio. Since becoming an SLP, I have seen patients in the Austin and surrounding area throughout a variety of settings: schools, daycares, homes, and clinics. No matter where the services are provided, I aim to provide evidence-based strategies to families with their child’s specific wants and needs at the forefront to increase their functional skills across all settings. I have extensive training and experience with treating Feeding and Swallowing difficulties and also have many years of experience with various areas of the field, including but not limited to: Autism spectrum, fluency/stuttering, articulation, language differences vs disorders, and more.

In my free time, I enjoy getting out and exploring Austin with my husband and two children. I also greatly enjoy playing tennis and learning new things (even random trivia). I am honored to be a part of the Inside Out team and look forward to providing exceptional speech therapy services to our patients and their families.
